Solutia's chairman to address chemical industry conference

Solutia Inc.'s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, John C. Hunter, will address a chemical industry investor conference sponsored by Salomon Smith Barney in New York on Dec. 4, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. EST. He will be joined by Mitch Pulwer, Director, Worldwide Automotive Marketing.
Hunter and Pulwer's presentations will be webcast live on Solutia's investor homepage. An audio replay of the presentations will be available at the same web address for five days following the presentation in New York.
