The Window and Door Manufacturers Association (WDMA) announced today that Fenster Components is the newest member of the association.

The Window & Door Manufacturers Association defines the standards of excellence in the residential and commercial window, door, and skylight industry and advances these standards among industry members, while providing advocacy resources, educational and professional programs, and ways for members to provide greater value to their customers.Fenster Components is a niche millwork fabricator specializing in the manufacture of after-market replacement wood window sash for many obsolete brands and models of wood and wood/clad windows.  Fenster offers a full line of unique window products in addition to custom millwork capabilities tailored to meet the needs of window repair and remodeling professionals.Recently, the company implemented steps to enter the window manufacturing industry as a niche, yet innovative component supplier to major window manufacturers with a fresh perspective on the customer experience, small batch custom manufacturing, and warranty service programs.

Fenster Components, a division of Schwartz Enterprises Inc, started with humble beginnings in the garage of Ryan Schwartz fifteen years ago. Schwartz formed his vision, developed a niche, and built success as a notable window restoration company in the Indianapolis area for more than a decade. However, his vision did not end there. His window restoration company was sold in 2012 to generate capital to take that vision to the next level. The natural progression of the company has led Fenster Components to become the largest manufacturer of after-market wood window replacement parts in the country.

"Fenster Components is proud to be a member of WDMA, and we look forward to the opportunities the organization may afford us.  We are excited to build new relationships with our fellow members as an ally and supporter of their organizations.  We hope our industry perspective and commitment to excellence will build a lasting reputation in the industry and with our peers," said Ryan Schwartz, Fenster owner and president.
