Goldray Wins Most Innovative Decorative Glass Project from Glass Magazine

Date: 3 August 2015

There is no shortage of talented companies in the architectural glass industry, all with an abundance of creative and beautiful projects installed around North America.

That is why we were so humbled and excited to hear the news that Goldray had won Glass Magazine’s award for Most Innovative Decorative Glass Project - Interior.Goldray’s award-winning project is a functional space divider and ticketing booth that doubles as an art installation in the Reunion Tower in Dallas, Texas. “Working with the entire team on this project was a very exciting challenge for us,” Cathie Saroka, Vice President of Goldray told Glass Magazine. “The design of the space was really imaginative and artistic and was something that had not been done before. The designer’s unique vision gave us all opportunities to be creative and innovative in both the manufacturing and installation of the glass.” We felt very fortunate to work with the team that we did to bring this concept to life. This whole project wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work and dedication of Goldray’s rep, Gloria Johnson from Specified Components Inc. Gensler’s design was creative and new, something that challenged us in many ways. The glazier, Alliance Glazing Technologies, we have worked with many times before in Chicago, but this was our first opportunity to work with them in Dallas. The Beck Group, the general contractor, completed the team that worked on what turned out to be an iconic installation.

Goldray is honored to be put in the same category as all of the other winners of Glass Magazine’s 2015 awards, all of whom “push the envelope of aesthetics, efficiency and performance.”
