Editor impressed by new Elumatec SBZ 122 CNC Router's speed and accuracy

Date: 8 July 2015

In May we were pleased to welcome Luke Wood, editor of Glass and Glazing Products magazine to our Staffordshire headquarters where he got first-hand insight to our new, time-saving and efficiency-boosting CNC router with a three axis machining centre, the Elumatec SBZ 122.  "Capable of carrying out all the prep work on doors and frames, this machine significantly reduces the time taken to complete the preparation of a door stile with shoot bolts, electric strikes and latch locks, from over an hour to a matter of minutes," said operations manager Jim Collins.

Not only does the machine speed up the manufacturing process, it is more accurate, the process can be repeated several times and it is entirely automatic. This frees up our technical team to concentrate on other, more technical build tasks. Moreover, a top quality finish is ensured, thanks to rigorous prep work pre-painting."

Investment in the Elumatec SBZ 122 is further testament to GEZE's commitment to quality and customer service.
