New Cooltemper Flat Toughening Furnace Installation

Date: 25 November 2014

Great Team work and communication ensured that between Tyneside Safety Glass and Cooltemper Engineering personnel we managed to de-commission and remove the existing EFCO flat toughened furnace and install our new Cooltemper Jetstream Plus Convection Flat Toughening Furnace in record time during the month of August.  The new state of the art furnace which has a bed size of 2440 x 4200mm and is capable of toughening glass thicknesses from 4mm to 19mm is a welcome new addition to our already comprehensive range of processing equipment with the aim of improving both the quality of the glass produced and productivity of the manufacturing facility and has already proved to be a great success.
