National Glass Association announce new chairman of the board

The National Glass Association (NGA) is pleased to announce the election of John Heinaman to the office of Chairman of the Board.

Heinaman, President of Heinaman Contract Glazing in Lake Forest, CA, has been a supporter of the NGA for many years, having served as Chairman-Elect and Treasurer of the NGA Board of Directors and as a member of the board since 1997. Heinaman took office on March 12th. He will serve a one-year term.

Joining Heinaman as executive officers are Chairman-Elect, Thomas D. Lee III of Lee & Cates Glass, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL and Treasurer, Joe N. Mesko of Mesko Glass & Mirror Co., Inc. in Scranton, PA. Chris Tate of Old Dominion Glass in Richmond, VA, serves as immediate past chairman for the forthcoming year.

Three new members have joined the board of directors to serve three-year terms. Kevin M. McMahon of K-Man Glass Corp., Bethel, CT; Gregory Pattakos of Advanced Auto Glass, Inc., Akron, OH; and Robert Trainor of Trainor Glass Co., Alsip, IL. Reelected to the board was Tom Koehler of HKL Cladding Systems, Inc. He has served on the board since 2001.

Board members returning for the 2004-2005 term are: Al Gauntlett, General Glass Co., Inc., Portland, OR; Bob Lawrence, Craftsman Fabricated Glass Inc., Houston, TX; Stephen W. Mort, Don's Mobile Glass, Inc., Modesto, CA; Wesley Topping, Jr., Elite Auto Glass, Commerce City, CO; Rodney Van Buskirk, Bacon & Van Buskirk, Champaign, IL; and Richard Voreis, Consulting Collaborative, Dallas, TX.

Founded in 1948, the National Glass Association is the largest trade association representing the entire flat glass industry. Based in McLean, VA, NGA offers certification, education and training, and serves the industry with the leading trade publications-Glass Magazine, Window & Door, and AutoGlass. NGA currently hosts GlassBuild America: The Glass, Window & Door Expo and the National Auto Glass Conference & EXPO.
