Pilkington: US Pyroshield alliance

 Pilkington celebrated a 50-year relationship with one of its biggest US customers at a special ceremony in St Helens.
Chief executive Stuart Chambers presented a specially commissioned glass sculpture to David Balik, president of General Glass International, to commemorate the long alliance between the two companies.
GGI International, based in New Jersey, is the main distributor of Pilkington Pyroshield™ products in the USA and recently co-ordinated the launch of the new Pilkington Pyroshield Plus™ for US customers. The product has been developed in response to a tightening of fire protection regulations in the US.
Mr Balik and GGI marketing communications manager Ariane Bischof also visited the Doncaster works to see Pilkington Pyroshield being made.
