Edgetech Introduces Sdl S-Sentials Product Line For Simulated Divided Lite Applications

Edgetech I.G. Inc., is pleased to introduce SDL S-sentials™, a thermoset foam sleeve system for Simulated Divided Lite applications. SDL S-sentials are flexible-foam sleeves that slide onto muntin bars, which are then assembled into internal grids within double-glazed IG units. Exterior muntin profiles are aligned and fixed to the outer surface of each glass lite, visually linking them with the SDL S-sentials internal gird assembly (see illustrations). The result is the appearance and beauty of a heritage true divided lite (TDL) window with outstanding thermal performance.
With SDL S-sentials, internal muntin grids are wrapped with flexible foam sleeves that, when assembled, create a padding that helps protect glass when windows are shipped.
Compatible with many different muntin bar systems, SDL S-sentials is available for varying muntin bar widths. It is offered in standard grey for immediate aesthetic compatibility with most spacers systems.
