Launched during GP&T 2003 exhibition, the Hot Melt Automatic Sealing Machine Art.SAHM20-SAHM25-SAHM30 has exceeded all expectation, as a result of in-depth studies carried out by For.

El’s R&D Department, this machine - like all of For.El’s range of products – guarantees incredible performance with superior build quality. Is an automatic machine that carries out the perimeter sealing of double glazed or triple glazed units (optional) with hot-melt sealant.
As the coupled unit exits the Coupling Press, a bespoke measuring sensor located on the in feed conveyor of the Hot Melt Sealing Robot, detects and geometrically measures its dimensions. With this information, combined with the continuous measurement of the perimeter depth, allows the onboard PLC to control the quantity and flow rate of the material.
The Hot Melt Sealing Robot carries out the perimeter sealing via the For.El. Art. HM1200 Hot Melt Extrusion Pump which pumps hot melt directly to the application head.
With proven technology and innovative design, the Hot Melt Sealing Robot extrudes hot melt through a balanced extrusion system that spreads the sealant consistently along the whole perimeter cavity.
The hot melt sealant temperature is regulated and monitored by PT100 probes and PID thermo-regulators strategically placed throughout the extrusion device and they keep it around 180÷190°C. A digital programmer gives the ability to pre-heat the hot melt in advance of normal production on a weekly basis.
A special heated spatula corner dresses the hot melt, after which, the finished sealed unit is conveyed onto the exit conveyor. The operator can then offload the sealed unit by hand or using one of the For.El. Range of lifting manipulators Art. 810, 810H and 820.
The SAHM20, SAHM25 and SAHM32 can seal units of up to 2000, 2500 and 3200 mm high respectively.
The above features make the Automatic Sealing Robot a state-of-the-art machine, ensuring efficient and reliable use delivering an exceptionally high quality product.
At For.El’s R&D Department new ideas and updates are part of a daily routine and as a result we are already developing innovative new projects: THE EVOLUTION CONTINUES ( www.forelspa.com).
