FreeMarkets, Inc., provider of global supply management (GSM) solutions, today announced that it has signed an agreement with PPG Industries, a global supplier of coatings, glass, fiber glass and chemicals. Under the terms of the agreement, PPG is using FreeMarkets GSM solutions, including FreeMarkets® ES(TM) and FreeMarkets® QS(TM), to lower costs and standardize purchasing across its global operations.
