LOS ANGELES, CA — December 17, 2012 — C.R.

Laurence has introduced another innovation in its line of award winning glass railing systems. The new B5G Series Square Base Shoe, designed for use with CRL’s patented TAPER-LOC® Dry Glazed Railing System, offers the same features and performance of our popular B5S Series, but it's formed using less metal, making it 20% lighter.  The B5G's design make it less expensive than the B5S Series, and because of it’s lighter weight it also saves on shipping costs.

  • Environmentally Friendly New Design Uses 20% Less Aluminum

  • Meets or Exceeds All Railing Code Requirements

  • Less Expensive Than the Popular B5S Series Base Shoe

  • Lighter Weight Makes it Easier to Handle Plus it Costs Less To Ship

When used with the TAPER-LOC® System the B5G accommodates 1/2” (12 mm) monolithic tempered glass.  For wet glazed applications it can be used for 1/2” to 5/8” (12 mm to 16 mm) monolithic glass. It's available undrilled or pre-drilled for surface mount (Hole Pattern "D") or fascia mount (Hole Pattern "F").
