Pilkington: CEO praises new German line
|
 The Braunschweig automotive plant in northern Germany received its first visit from Pilkington chief executive Stuart Chambers, who toured the site in May.
Following a presentation by the management team, Stuart visited the new TPE extrusion line, which produces windshields for the VW Touran.
"The line is showing good yield and uptime and Stuart was very pleased with our launch of this complex technology," said plant manager Jurgen Ruhnau.
"He was impressed by the plant and our team and is happy with the way we handle problems and challenges here."
