Vitro Granted Extension of Temporary Restraining Order by U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals

San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, July 17, 2012 - Vitro S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV: VITROA) announced that the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals extended the Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) ordered by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Dallas, Texas. The TRO prevents the dissident funds that have been attacking Vitro’s reorganization plan in the U.S. from seeking to collect on judgments and seize assets belonging to Vitro.

This extension, which was based, in part, on the merits of Vitro’s appeal, will allow Vitro to continue to do business with its customers undisrupted, during the pendency of the appeal or until further order by the Court.
