The Glass Machinery Company to help make a show of Zafferani Glas at Glasstec 2012

With Glasstec now firmly on the horizon, The Glass Machinery Company is focusing on the new product developments to be introduced at the exhibition by suppliers.
Zafferani Glas will be introducing a new and improved line of machinery in Dusseldorf which will provide customers with faster output levels and improved quality. The ECOGRIND10BS (variable angle edger) and the ECOGRIND10 (normal straight line edger) are completely new models and will replace the existing models in the range including FLAT1030CERIUM, FLAT10BS30CERIUM, FLAT1040, FLAT10BS40.
Whilst the new machines will be officially launched in October at Glasstec 2012 deliveries of the new machines will commence from September onwards.
Specific improvements to the new machines include larger body design that is more robust with completely new low consumption features. Typically the ECOGRINDS will be able to handle glass thicknesses from 3.40 mm or 3.50 mm on demand.
The glass driving system of the new systems has been completely redesigned to provide a smoother more consistent drive without any chain stress. Additionally a 10” touch screen has been developed which includes an alarm system for wrong glass thickness, a standby mode as well as wheel selection and deselection.
The Spindles have been completely redesigned to mount diamond, polishing or resin wheels on the same spindle whilst the wheel tank has also been redeveloped to eliminate stretching rubber sleeves.
New option lists have been introduced with the input and output conveyors being motorized separately. Additionally the new ECOGRIND machines have been designed to cope with small pieces of glass.

All products will be on display in Dusseldorf at Glasstec 2012 in Hall 16 on Stand 11.
