TuffX Triple Glazing Inspires Potential Sales

The Ambi-Triple option from TuffX was the product of choice for a large orangery project in East Sussex.
St. Pauls C of E Primary School based in St Leonards on Sea required more space to be used as a multifunctional area. A brick parapet style orangery that was 8.0m wide with a 6.0m projection was designed to provide bigger and better school facilities. This also incorporated an integral kitchen area.
The contract via Orangery Solutions and completed by the Whiteline group, required TuffX to supply 31 sqm of high performance, thermally efficient roof glass that would ensure the area could be used all year round. Using the Orangery Solutions patented system combined with the Ambi-Triple glazing option from the Ambience range, which provides a 0.7 u-value, has ensured that the high specification standards for all year usage could be achieved.
Some intended uses for the orangery will include meetings however it will also be hired out for social events which will enable the school to generate extra income that will help to further improve school amenities.
Paul Nellis, Managing Director at Orangery Solutions comments, “This was a very high specification job which required only the best glazing products throughout. The need to provide good solar control with high thermal values was extremely important.” Paul Nellis continues “The projects we undertake are at the top end of this industry. We have a proven system that can easily support the weight of triple glazed roofing units, however we have to ensure that our suppliers meet the exacting demands of our customers. “Whilst the architect had specified triple units, we had to be sure that our supplier would match our own extremely high standards. TuffX has always provided excellent products, at the right price and with a great support service which meets our needs, so we were not disappointed.”
Manufactured in-house, to exacting industry standards the Ambi-Triple is a quality product that offers the best performance options on the market today. As orangeries are now built to add value, style and usable space, the triple glazed roof units offer a variety of benefits, providing greater insulation and improved noise reduction for year round usage. Having now had chance to fully appreciate the new facilities, the school has been so impressed with efficiency of the finished build that another potential orangery style extension is being considered.
Graham Price, Managing Director at TuffX comments, “Ambi-Triple offers unprecedented u-values along with exceptional glare reduction which together with the noise reduction benefits makes it easily the most suitable glass roof option for any orangery project. Seeing such striking finished installations and being recognised for quality standards is very rewarding indeed.” For more information on the Ambience glass roofing range please visit the website www.ambiglass.co.uk
