On May 21st, 2010, the float glass line of Düzce Cam successfully started production in Turkey for Okan group.

With the start-up of their first float line, the OKAN Group will have direct and competitive access to prime quality float glass for all its glass processing and sales activities, enhancing the strength and the dimension of this fast-growing regional glass group.Their production is to be used at 10 to 20% for automotive applications and 80 to 90% for construction applications.Fives Stein has been selected by Düzce Cam as the major supplier and is responsible for the plant‘s design and the supply of the glass manufacturing line, comprising of the batchplant, the float furnace, the tin bath and the annealing lehr.Fives Stein also provided the start-up services insuring smooth and efficient support until the production teams become fully self-sufficient.On May 21st, 2010, the float glass line of Düzce Cam successfully started production in Turkey for Okan group.
