Vitrum 2003: An ever-growing show
|
 The ongoing increase in exhibitor and visitor numbers seen at VITRUM in recent years reached its peak in 2001, confirming the tremendous interest aroused by the Milan exhibition among those in the trade, and the important role of Italian machinery, accessories and special products in the production, processing and transformation of glass. The four busy days of Vitrum 2001, packed with meetings and discussions, left the clear impression that this is the big international showcase of a healthy, vibrant industry.
421 exhibitors, a surface area of 27,219 square meters, 16,284 visitors from 78 countries: these figures for 2001 are tangible proof of the exhibitions success which started out 26 years ago, way back in 1979, and has continued to grow ever since to become a premier international event for the glass industry. With these outstanding results, VITRUM 2003 will open the doors of the 13th show from 25 to 28 June in pavilions 14, 15 and 16 at Fiera Milano.
