Kibing Group Invests RMB 3.5b in PV Glass Project

Ningbo-based glass manufacturer Kibing Group signed an agreement on January 17 to invest RMB 3.5 billion to construct two energy-conserving glass production lines in the Qingshuitang Industrial Zone, Zhuzhou, Hunan province, Focus.cn reported on January 18.
One line is expected to produce 600 tons of low-emissivity glass daily, while the second will produce 800 tons of ultra-clear glass daily for delivery to thin-film solar cell companies, the report said. The total project targets annual sales of RMB 3 billion and is scheduled to complete construction in five years, said the report.
