Vanco to win biggest network deal yet as part of Computer Sciences IT deal
|
Vanco PLC said it will receive its biggest network contract to date as part of an outsourcing IT deal between glass repair and replacement businesses holding company Belron and Computer Sciences Corp.
The contract - incorporating a Vanco data network package - is currently being negotiated, and the network portion will eventually be greater than any single existing Vanco network contract.
CSC has raised a purchase order to the value of 620,000 stg to allow work on the project to start, but vanco did not disclose further financial details.
Chief executive Allen Timpany said, "This is a landmark for Vanco. It creates a new incremental market for us and again increases the size of our largest contract. Additionally trading continues to strengthen quarter by quarter.
