Southwall Announces Third Quarter Earnings Conference Call

Southwall Technologies Inc. (NYSE:SWTX) a global developer, manufacturer and marketer of thin-film coatings for the automotive glass, electronic display and architectural markets, will hold its quarterly conference call to discuss third quarter results on Thursday, October 24, 2002, at 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time (9:30 a.m. Pacific Time).

This call is being webcast by CCBN and can be accessed at Southwall's web site at www.southwall.com

The webcast is also being distributed over CCBN's Investor Distribution Network to both institutional and individual investors.
