The first, a text-based course titled "Glazing Guidelines and Practices for Sealed Insulating Glass," will be available on MyGlassClass.com by spring. The second course is a how-to video course showing the basic of glass handling and is expected to be available on the site in June.
"The rationale for adding this training platform to IGMA's regular educational program is to reach a broader audience and to allow fabricators the flexibility to schedule their in-plant training when it is most convenient to them without requiring plant personnel to be away from the facility," said Margaret Webb, IGMA Executive Director. "We will also continue to offer the traditional classroom forum for the Preventing IG Failures Educational Seminar in conjunction with GlassBuild America, which offers the benefit of participant interaction with the presenters."
