Within hours of the order, the three companies had agreed to donate the truck windshields and forego normal distribution channels.

Guardian Industries Corp., FWD Seagrave and Omni Glass & Paint Company, Inc. are supporting the relief efforts of the beleaguered New York City Fire Department with a donation of 100 replacement windshields ordered by the department following the terrorist attacks.
