Guardian Częstochowa awarded as employer in the Silesia region

Guardian Częstochowa has been named among the five best employers in the Silesia region during the Annual PulsHR Day 2017 Gala, which took place on November 15 at the International Congress Centre in Katowice, Poland.

TOP Employer is a poll conducted annually by the ”PTWP” Group and PulsHR.pl. The program recognizes companies which have considerable impact upon the economic development of the region and the local labor market.

The winners are chosen by secret ballot by an independent jury consisting of prominent business, education and HR experts. They evaluate the nominees giving them points from 1 to 5 in each of the categories:

  • Impact on the region's economic and labor market development
  • Relationship between employers and employees
  • CSR (cooperation with the local community)
  • Innovation in people management and recruitment.

This year Guardian Częstochowa was among the winners and was awarded the title of TOP 5 Employers of the Silesia Region. During the main event, Aleksandra Tyl, HR Business Partner, and Grzegorz Kuźnik, Częstochowa Plant Manager, accepted the award on behalf of Guardian Częstochowa.

”We are very pleased to be included in this distinguished group. At Guardian, we believe employees are our number one asset and we work hard to create an environment focused on value creation for our company, employees and the communities where we do business,” Aleksandra said.

Guardian Industries has a Shared Service Center in Katowice that employes 65 and a float glass plant in Czestochowa, with more than 350 employees. The company recently announced a second float line will be built adjacent to the current plant.
