Smart-Builder returned to Glasstec for their fourth time in October. The 2014 show had a bigger, brighter, better and redesigned stand that, based on the comments heard, resulted in a more professional presence.    At the front of the stand was an imposing 65” touch-screen TV.

This ran a full version of Smart-Web, allowing visitors to make structural glass designs and mail example quotes, with 3D drawings, back to themselves. Elsewhere, visitors enjoyed demonstrations from the entire Smart-Builder product suite and had their first introduction to Smart-Measure, a potentially revolutionary app for smart phones and tablets.

A busy and successful Glasstec 2014 for the Smart-Builder team!

Integration was the theme at this year’s show and the back wall was dominated by Smart-Builder’s ‘Wheel of Integration’. The WOI highlighted partnerships and alliances within the industry, all arranged to simplify the entire concept-to-billing life cycle. A tangible and popular example for visitors involved a Proliner (on loan from Prodim Systems) taking measurements and passing CAD files directly into Smart-Builder. Completed designs from Smart-Builder could then be exported to LiSEC, A+W or similar software and the whole process took less than 5 minutes.

One month after Glasstec 2014, Smart-Builder are pleased to announce that sales have well exceeded previous shows. Even setting aside ongoing discussions with interested businesses, Smart-Builder can report that they have already doubled their previous show records. Smart-Web and the German version of the software have been particular successful with sales of both more than tripling.
