GlassPrint keynote speakers: Dominique Tombeur & Mike Young

Dominique Tombeur (FEVE + O-I) confirmed as GlassPrint keynote speaker GlassPrint 2009, Europe’s leading event for the decoration of glass, will take place in Darmstadt, near Frankfurt, in Germany on 25-26 November.

We are delighted to announce that the container glass keynote presentation will be made by Dominque Tombeur, President of FEVE (EU Association for Container Glass) and VP Marketing, New Product Development & Communications at O-I Europe.His paper, called “How healthy is container glass?", will look at increasing the sustainability and prospects for the container sector, and how glass decoration can contribute.
 
The flat glass sector will be represented by a keynote speech from Mike Young, called “Top 5 Secrets of Screen Printing Architectural Glass". Mr Young’s presentation will navigate key issues that have the most dramatic impact on performance of any flat glass screen printing operation. 
 
In addition to the keynote speakers, 12 other presentations will update attendees on the latest trends and developments for advanced technology for glass decoration, covering:
 
New innovations in heavy-metal free inks
Innovation in digital printing
Advanced machinery technology
Efficient pre-press technology
Group discussions
