Glassman Latin America conference finalised

The upcoming Glassman Latin America conference programme has now been finalised, and features keynote speaker Jose Huerta, Director of the Center of Glass Excellence at Grupo Modelo.

Other speakers include Hector Garcia of Gerresheimer, Vitaliano Gregori of BDF, Rainer Heidemann of Heye International, and Cuauhtemoc Lagos of Praxair, amongst others. The event will take place alongside the Glassman Latin America exhibition, held at Expo Guadalajara, Mexico, on the 22nd and 23rd September. Both events cater exclusively to the hollow and container glass manufacturing industries, and welcome industry suppliers and manufacturers from all over the world. The conference theme is ‘Future solutions for the hollow and container glass industries’, and topics discussed will include plant and operator safety, improvements in efficiency processes, and the evolution of quality requirements in the glass industry. Many papers focus on ways in which to improve the efficiency of forehearths and furnaces in particular. The conference has 13 speakers spread across the two day event, and is free to attend.
