For leading warm edge technology supplier Edgetech, Glassex-GP&T was living proof that forward thinking glass and window companies are confident - and even excited - about the industry's future, despite all the talk of doom and gloom.

Andy Jones, Managing Director of Edgetech confirmed his company's investment had paid off over the three days: "Our stand was buzzing from Tuesday morning when the doors opened to close of play on Thursday with customers, prospects and the media joining us to find out more about the 360 business initiative and the Super Spacer dealership. Talking to other exhibitors during the show, it became clear that the more they'd put into the three days, the more they and their customers were getting out of it.

"It was great to see so many old names and industry leaders showing their support by investing time and money on attending. But equally encouraging was the flux of new companies using the exhibition to bring innovative products to help invigorate our changing market. We certainly had a huge amount of interest in how Edgetech's 360 package and the Dealership can help sealed unit manufacturers, fabricators and installers keep ahead of the competition and win more sales over 2008. As well as generating high levels of new business, we were also delighted to officially welcome Lister Trade Frames and Oakland Glass to the Super Spacer Dealership. In fact, the show was such a resounding success we've already signed up for next year to help us maintain our market leading position, and pledge support to the UK glass and window industry as a whole."
