Confederation of Construction Products and Services (CCPS), New Delhi is organizing a Glass training work-shop in Bangalore which will be held on Saturday 8th July 2006 at 9:30 am at Hotel Infantry court, 66 Infantry Road, Bangalore.

According to the press release, CCPS a non-profit organization is organizing this workshop to train architects, builders, contractors, facility managers and others on selection of appropriate glass in modern buildings with the support of AIS Glass Solution Ltd.

In the first two phases, this training has been imparted to nearly 1000 construction professionals across 7 cities. In the third phase, CCPS aims to train 1000 more in major cities.

The training course covers the basics of glass selection in relation to heat control, acoustics, thermal breakage, and safety and security. The participants are also exposed to appropriate use of tempered glass, laminated glass and insulated glass and the quality issues relating to these products. This knowledge will help participants deliver greater value to their clients and also prevent them from making wrong and potentially damaging selection.

The course is based on an easy to use training manual published by AIS Glass Solutions Limited. All the participants are given a copy of the manual designed to allow them to take notes during the program and retain it for reference in their practice.
