The Glass Manufacturers’ Educational Trust is the primary UK charity in relation to education within the field of glass. Applications for funding are now open to all parties interested in glass education.

The funding is available to both individuals and organisations as long as educational outcomes can be identified. In the past, the trust has given grants for glass related training courses, literature about the glass industry, glass events, and to develop courses that enable students to learn about glass.

The trust is always interested to hear about your glass projects. When applying for funds, individuals and organisations should provide a brief description of the reason for the application, and the amount of money they would like to receive.

Additionally, the Glass Manufacturers’ Educational Trust is seeking a new volunteer trustee to join the board to help steer the charity and shape its future as they continue to grow and develop. You do not need to be an expert to be eligible for this role. If you are within the glass sector and are passionate about helping people, the trust would love to hear from you.
