The United States Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics has released the August 2007 import and export price indexes.
The import price index decreased 0.3 percent in August, following a 1.3 percent advance in July. In contrast, export prices rose 0.2 percent in August after edging down 0.1 percent the previous month.
