This reacts with UV light so that, as a result, organic pollutions is broken down. This photo-catalytic process, however, also decomposes pollutants and can thus reduce the atmospheric pollution.
For buildings with large areas of glass, self-cleaning glazing solutions offer a number of advantages. Besides the “filter function”, above all, these include much lower cleaning effort and considerably reduced cleaning costs. Glazing with SGG BIOCLEAN can thus contribute to reducing the air pollution on streets with heavy traffic and to creating a better living or working climate.
