The GGF Group was pleased with the success of the FIT Show held recently at The International Centre in Telford.

Nigel Rees, Group Chief Executive commented, “As well as the GGF Group’s own strong profile at the show, I was delighted to see so many GGF Members exhibiting their products and services to great effect and they too were rewarded with thousands of visitors attending the show.”Throughout the show the GGF and its group of companies including FENSA, GGFi, GGF Training and BFRC (British Fenestration Ratings Council) provided information for visitors, ran quizzes and held prize draws/competitions.GGF Members also benefited from the exclusive GGF Member’s Café where refreshments were enjoyed, during much networking.

Nigel Rees continued, “From the GGF Group’s perspective, it was good to impart our knowledge at the Seminars and in particular, to provide an outline of the issues around consumer rights. It was also very pleasing to see the success of the FENSA sponsored Masterfitter competition and congratulations to the winners YES Glazing Solutions and thanks to all those companies who took part.”

The GGF’s prize draw at the FIT Show was also well received with many companies entering to win a “GGF Experience” prize. The Federation is pleased to announce the following winners;

  • Lawrence Muirhead of Clearview PVCU won a Riverboat Dining Cruise for two.

  • Mark Pearce of KJM Group Ltd won an experience package for a Grand Afternoon Tea for two.

Nigel Rees added, “Following this year’s success and with the next FIT Show scheduled for April 2016, the GGF will be soon be in discussions with the organisers. We’ll be looking for areas where we can contribute to help make The FIT Show 2016 as good, if not better than its first two years. Thanks to all who have made this exhibition something our industry can be very proud of and long may the high standards continue.”
