Topeka, KS - The Glass Association of North America (GANA) announced today the release of a new Glass Informational Bulletin (GIB) available for download at no charge on its website at www.glasswebsite.com.

The GIB, titled Green Aspects of Mirror - The Reusability and Recyclability of Mirror Products, focuses on how easily mirror can be recycled into inventive design products, a fundamental tenant of the green movement.

“Mirror has been a great design tool for the past century,” said Jim Ventre, Gardner Glass Products and GANA Mirror Division Chair. “Over the past two decades, though, it has become even more valuable in its ease of recyclability into other home uses.

This Informational Bulletin highlights the environmentally friendly aspects of mirror as a key aspect of its versatility. Designers and architects will find this free document thought provoking and informative, and a great tool in the green movement.”

The GIB also addresses the environmentally-conscious aspects of the mirror manufacturing process. It is available as a free download in the TechCenter section of the GANA website. Architects, specifiers and designers are encouraged to download the document.
