Mr. Archibald volunteered to lead the industry effort in the development of a center punch fragmentation test procedure. Mr. Archibald has been with Virtek Laser Systems, Inc., a leading provider of precision laser-based templating, inspection and marking solutions for the glass industry since its formation in 1994. Previously serving in manufacturing, support, and sales capacities, he currently focuses efforts on product development for the construction and glass markets as a Project Manager. Mr. Archibald holds a Business degree from Wilfred Laurier University and a Canadian Industrial Manager degree from the University of Western Ontario.
The next Tempering Division Center Punch Fragmentation Subcommittee meeting will be held during the GANA 2003 Fall Conference, September 20-23, 2003, at the Radisson Hotel Downtown in Chicago, Illinois.
