FreeMarkets Announces Agreement with PPG Industries

FreeMarkets, Inc., provider of global supply management (GSM) solutions, today announced that it has signed an agreement with PPG Industries, a global supplier of coatings, glass, fiber glass and chemicals.

Under the terms of the agreement, PPG is using FreeMarkets GSM solutions, including FreeMarkets® ES(TM) and FreeMarkets® QS(TM), to lower costs and standardize purchasing across its global operations.

Under the terms of its agreement with FreeMarkets, PPG will use both FreeMarkets ES and FreeMarkets QS as part of its overall supply management initiatives.
