Fives consolidates its dynamic growth

Having recruited 750 new employees in 2012, the Group has now announced 480 new jobs in France for next yearParis, September 13, 2012 – Fives, the industrial engineering group, continues to recruit new people to meet the significant requirements generated by the growth of its businesses in France and internationally.

The Group has announced its intention to recruit 480 new employees in France next year.

Having recruited 1,231 people worldwide in 2011, and nearly 1,400 more in 2012, Fives continues on its fast-track path to growth. In this, the Group’s bicentennial year, Fives has already recruited nearly 750 new employees in France, including 330 managers.

Looking forward to 2013, Fives confirms its intention to recruit a further 480 people under open-ended employment contracts in France during the year: 70% of these new staff will be managers.

The Group is particularly keen to recruit sales engineers, design engineers and project management engineers, as well as technicians in maintenance, design and control systems. Videos of existing employees talking about some of the flagship career opportunities offered by Fives can be viewed.

The Group is also committed to maintaining its high level of contractual training opportunities for younger people, with 250 apprenticeships, career development courses and internships planned for 2013.

At December 31, 2011, Fives employed 6,108 people worldwide, including 3,519 in France (i.e. nearly 60% of the total workforce).
