Glasstec, the industry’s most important trade show in Europe in 2006, is to represent for Fenzi an excellent opportunity for extensively publicising the new Decover range, launched at the end of last year yet already heading for considerable success on the main markets in Europe and elsewhere.

Decover is a line of paints for the cold decoration of glass, products designed for all types of use in which the painted glass surface does not risk damage. The prime feature of Decover paints lies in the vast range of particularly vibrant colours, with also the potential for special effects (metallic, iridescent, sanded, etc.) and specific shades to order.

Aquaglass, a single-component water product for decorations in solid and opaque colours, occupies a very significant place within the Decover range. It is available in all colours and colour variants and has the great advantage of drying in continuous or static convection furnaces, or more simply by airing, provided the weather conditions are suitable.

However Fenzi’s past and present, which will be widely documented at Glasstec, are revealed in highly specific yet at the same time varied product ranges, already well known and recognised worldwide.

Since it came into operation in 1941, in the middle of the War, Fenzi has in fact focused production on chemical products for the second processing of flat glass. This has enabled it to become extremely specialised which in turn means maximum product quality and world leadership in its industry.

Mirror-backing paints have always represented the most important range for the Group, demonstrated by the fact that today more than one mirror out of two in the world is produced using Duralux corrosion prevention paints for mirrors. It is a complete range and suitable for all production needs, from the more traditional ones to those of the sophisticated copper-free technologies.

The sealants division of the Fenzi Group is the most important in terms of volumes and where the Thiover polysulphide, Butylver butyl-based, Hotver 2000 hot-melt and Poliver polyurethane products are manufactured to enable the construction of double glazing with perfect and highly durable tightness. Fenzi also offers the producers of insulating glass profiles in aluminium, steel and stainless steel, produced at the Alu-Pro and Rolltech plants and sold worldwide by the Glass Alliance network.

Decorative paints are products in growing demand thanks to the interest shown on a number of markets as result of their ever-increasing areas of use. They are produced and sold in two different versions: Tempver glass enamels for screen printing, enamelling and satin finishing of glass and organic Decover products for cold application and the utmost brilliance and colour yield.

Fenzi’s technological superiority can also be recognised in a more “creative” area, that of profiles for joining decorative glass. This is a range of around 150 different profiles, two of which are patented (Bimetall and Superbrill), which can be clad with all non-ferrous metals and their alloys, in the natural, polished or painted versions.
