Record attendance at the annual FeneVision ERP system User Conference included eight representatives from three European companies, enough that FeneVision developer FeneTech will hold a FeneVision User Conference in Europe in 2016.      83 people from 42 companies attended the 13th edition of the user conference held in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, 30 miles from FeneTech headquarters.

Half the companies are glass fabricators, the other half window and door makers. FeneTech plans to also hold such a conference in Europe in 2016 – dates and place still to be confirmed.

FeneTech has an office in Luxembourg serving nearly three dozen customers in Europe. Worldwide, the company has more than 200 customers.

“Participants were offered 72 seminars on four different tracks over two-and-one-half days, from the basics of the software to free-form “ask the expert” breakout sessions,” said Horst Mertes, CEO of FeneTech Europe and vice president of sales and marketing for FeneTech. “The always amazing part of the user conference is how much even people from competing companies share with and help each other to improve their operations.”

Founded in 1999, FeneTech develops, markets and supports Fenevision ERP and related quality products worldwide. The ERP solution provides one point of data entry, optimization, remote web order entry and complete integration of operations and is currently available in English, German, French, Dutch, Spanish and Polish, Hungarian and other languages.

Popular sessions at the User Conference included optimization, Computer Assisted Production Management (CAPM) and web order entry. FeneTech also uses the event to gather input from users and develop the software enhancements and improvements list for the next 12 months.

But a FeneVision User Conference is never just all work. Evening entertainment Monday was a dinner cruise on the Cuyahoga River through downtown Cleveland and along the Lake Erie Shoreline while Tuesday evening the attendees participated in a bowling competition at a local multi-media complex.

And the User Conference always includes attractive prizes for the longest distance travelled, those who most contribute to the sessions and of course for the bowling effort.
