Two years ago Ron Crowl, President of Ohio based FeneTech Inc., made a statement that FeneTech would simply refuse to participate in the pending economic downturn.

During GlassBuild 2009 in Atlanta FeneTech had a record number of visitors in their booth compared to previous  years which has led the company to conclude and sign considerable business during this show.

Horst Mertes, Director of Global Sales states: "GlassBuild 2009 was the best show I ever personally attended in North America and I am a 25 year veteran of the industry. I always believe in diversity, complete integration and powerful software. The FeneVision ERP system, from my point of view is the most sophisticated, powerful and integrated software solution on the market - world-wide. The industry has changed and now demands complete integration. FeneTech is well positioned to meet these demands with our ability to provide excellent software, service and support.  In addition to our reputation for innovative software, we have introduced new technology; some of it already proven in Europe, to the North American market such as the FeneVision Line Scanner powered by SoftSolution, our technology partner in Austria. In addition, we have introduced the FeneVision Laser Marking system which eliminates production labels and will allow users to comply with the ever increasing demands of product identification. We are confident that with more than 150 new leads and the concluded business during the GlassBuild show in Atlanta, we will continue to increase our business further."

Ron Crowl, President of FeneTech Inc. adds: “We approached this year’s GlassBuild show with apprehension as we were not sure what to expect based on the ongoing economic downturn. While attendance at this year’s show was lighter than previous years the quality of attendees was exceptional. Traffic in our booth could only be described as encouraging.  We fully expect this show to provide significant growth opportunities and we now look forward to the Vitrum show in Milan at the end of this month.”
