Hall 9 Stand 9F3828 September - 1 October 2010Messe DüsseldorfGermanywww.glasstec.deRitec will announce the latest developments to its pioneering ClearShield® System for durable glass surface protection with innovative solutions proven to increase the efficiency of solar panels with ClearShield High-Light GlassTM and the hygienic properties of glass with ClearShield Anti-Microbial GlassTM.Glasstec also sees the launch of Ritec’s unique Added Value Package that allows glass processors and fabricators to add a new product line without the cost of a new product line.

The ClearShield® System, which converts ordinary glass into ClearShield ‘Non-Stick’ GlassTM, offers all the benefits of a new product and increased profits to help beat global recession without the associated risks and minimum investment. The team will be on hand to discuss new business opportunities for both factory application and on-site renovation and invite visitors to ‘Take A Fresh Look’.

Furthermore, Ritec will be promoting new extended durability guidelines for ClearShield® durable glass surface protection – now up to 15 years for vertical architectural glazing, the longest warranty on the market and based on almost 30 years experience and actual field track records.

ClearShield High-Light GlassTM offers durable, ‘non-stick’ protection to maintain the original light transmission of solar panel glass for higher energy conversion efficiency. Reduced cleaning frequency also cuts CO2, so cleaner glass also means greener glass. ClearShield Anti-Microbial GlassTM resists adhesion and growth of bacteria, viruses and fungi, making it ideal for use in any hygiene sensitive areas, including the healthcare and food catering sectors.

Other ClearShield® formulations on display include ClearShield Low-M® Glass, reducing cleaning on average by 50%; ClearShield High-Visibility GlassTM, offering effective resistance to harsh contamination for all types of glass and glazing applications and ClearShield Heat Performance GlassTM, an innovative solution for glass exposed to high temperatures that is easier to clean and has an enhanced surface appearance.

In addition, Ritec will be exhibiting Ritecoat R625TM, a new addition to the Ritecoat range for metal and powder coated surfaces. Designed for use on stainless steel surfaces, Ritecoat R625TM makes them more resistant to staining and discolouration, and so easier to keep clean without the need for harsh and abrasive cleaning methods.

Summing up its 13th appearance at Glasstec, Ritec’s MD Stephen Byers says: “Glasstec 2010 provides the perfect platform to promote the unique solutions we can now provide for specialist applications like hygiene and solar panels, as well as ClearShield’s proven performance in areas such as architectural glazing, decorative glass and shower enclosures. And as a leading international trade fair, this event is a great opportunity for us to grow and support our worldwide network of partners. Why not visit our stand and take a fresh look?”
