Economy Minister Pavol Rusko dislikes the approach of the Finance Ministry to the investment plans of the Swiss glassmaker Glas Trosch AG, which wants to build a plant in the Euro Valley industrial park in Záhorie, daily SME writes.

Rusko claims that the firm should get state support and he believes that the Finance Ministry is blocking this support. The ministry argued that it has not released its stand on the glassmaker yet, and that the ministers with the economic portfolio will discuss state incentives for the firm on Friday.

Earlier the year, the Slovak government pledged to provide an Sk800 million (€19.57 million) investment stimuli for the project of a new glass processing plant in Záhorie, in western Slovakia. This would represent about 11 percent of the total projected investment of Sk7.5 billion (€183.51 million) by the Swiss and German concern.
