This range of Reinforced Insulation glass, coming from a breakthrough technology developed by Saint-Gobain, fits in at a high-end level to complement the Planitherm® line.

ECLAZ® demonstrates unique properties on the market, combining the best energy performance with unrivalled access to natural daylight.

This gives for instance the possibility of enjoying the thermal insulation of triple-glazing while ensuring the natural light intake of a double-glazing unit.

This innovation guaranteeing both a significant environmental impact (reduction of up to 20% of the energy bill) and greater occupant comfort is at the heart of Saint-Gobain’s sustainability strategy.

These assets enable it to fulfil and anticipate environmental regulation requirements, like the future Bbio (Bioclimatic needs) in France, EnEv2020 in Germany and other energy labels. ECLAZ® targets residential and commercial markets in cold or temperate climates, for the windows and façades of new or renovated buildings.

The ECLAZ® range is currently composed of two products: ECLAZ®, designed for CLIMATOP triple-glazing and ECLAZ® ONE for CLIMAPLUS double-glazing. This tech innovation is the result of 8 years of research and development jointly led by the SGR and CRDC research centers in liaison with the plant of Porz (Germany) for industrialization.
