The company has developed an innovative and efficient solution to print on glass and insulating glass, which ensures accurate and extremely rapid copy of natural patterns, such as wood or stone.
The Sol-Gel UV ink is an organic, environmental-friendly pigment that chemically binds with glass after heating to 200° C, providing extraordinary adhesion and resistance. Tests have shown that full adhesion is maintained both after 72 hour of immersion in water at ambient temperature as well as after 30 minutes in hot water at 65°. Resistance to humidity (as per EN ISO 6270) on samples exposed to 40° C and 100% relative humidity is ensured for 100 hours. Tests with chemicals (alcohol, glass cleaning products, commercial bathroom and shower cleaners, and 2.3% caustic soda) showed no damage in the ink layer.
