Dura Temp appointed as global distributor for Phygen’s FortiPHY coated plates  Dura Temp Corporation, a leading supplier in hot ware handling solutions, is pleased to announce that it has been appointed as the global distributor for Phygen’s FortiPHY coated plates.

Complimenting Dura Temp’s line of hot ware handling solutions, FortiPHY coated plates will add transfer deadplates, lehr deadplates and slide plates for inspection machines to the company’s current line of products. The FortiPHY coated plates are produced with a specialized coating process which results in an extremely hard and smooth surface to enhance glass container transfers from one conveyor to the next. Made from high-quality materials, the FortiPHY coated plates offer a much longer service life than standard steel plates and other coatings. The coated plates reduce friction and therefore provide excellent glass-on-metal as well as metal-on-metal wear protection. The FortiPHY coated plates do not require any lubrication, are unaffected by heat and are corrosion resistant.  Please visit us at Glasstec 2012 in Hall 13 Booth A61 for more information on FortiPHY coated plates.   Since 1983, Dura Temp Corporation has provided the glass industry with superior hot glass handling materials and quick-change parts and assemblies, providing a variety of ware handling solutions for container glass, tableware, and bending and tempering.  Dura Temp’s range of high temperature materials and products virtually eliminate damage to glass on account of thermal stress, oil absorption, and abrasion. With a combination of leading-edge materials technology and a systems approach that applies the right materials to the right applications, Dura Temp solutions are second to none.
