DuPont Web Site Wins Excellence Award

The DuPont Internet site at www.dupont.com has received a “Standard of Excellence” award from the Web Marketing Association.

The winners of the 2002 WebAward Competition were selected from entries submitted by interactive agencies or marketing and e-commerce departments worldwide.

Created and entered in the competition by Scient (recently acquired by SBI and Company), DuPont.com was lauded for “reaching a standard of excellence for which all corporate Web sites should strive to achieve.”

The overall design of the DuPont Web site, its ease of navigation and variety of multimedia tools also drew the judges’ praise. In addition, the site was credited with strengthening and reinforcing the DuPont corporate brand. Supporting and promoting our corporate brand and science company positioning are important elements of the DuPont knowledge intensity strategy for achieving sustainable growth.
