Discovery Channel Features SPD-SmartGlass In "The Mile High Skyscraper''

Energy-efficient SPD-SmartGlass will be featured on tonight's "Mile High Skyscraper" episode of a new television series from Discovery Channel called Mega-Engineering.  The first airing of this episode was scheduled at 10PM ET, September 30, 2009.

The episode will be re-aired at 1AM ET today, October 1, 2009.
 
Research Frontiers licensee Innovative Glass Corp. supplied the SPD-SmartGlass for this episode. Innovative Glass used SPD film manufactured by Hitachi Chemical Company, Ltd.
 
The upcoming episode explores whether humans could build "Extopia" - a mile-high skyscraper - in the future, and emphasizes the strategic role that smart glass from Innovative Glass could have in sustainable building design.
