Advanced Technology Glass, manufacturer of architectural specialty glass and licensee of DFI’s technology, has recently completed a large commercial project in Guadalajara, Mexico, Galerias Guadalajara, with the application of CleanTech-DFI, Cristacurva’s brand name for the Diamon-Fusion patented hydrophobic technology.

This newly built shopping center, of unique and very innovative architectural features, including a 98 ft (30 m) wide by 98 ft (30 m) high glass façade of point fixed supported glass wall in the main entry, will be one of the most modern and largest commercial centers in Mexico. Cristacurva’s glass installation at Galerias Guadalajara included nearly 25,000 SQFT. of tempered and laminated glass.

Francisco Sánchez Gil, Managing Director of Cristacurva, very proud with the completion of this important commercial project in Guadalajara, reported: “This project will create a beautiful architectural scene that is quite visible to the city and will be instrumental in getting future applications of CleanTech-DFI coating to other new commercial projects in Mexico. We believe that the product will be widely specified by architects and designers since it truly offers a unique easy-to-clean feature to the glass, a key to reducing maintenance expense".

Cristacurva, a Guadalajara- based company with sales offices in Mexico City, Mexico, Laredo, Texas (US) and distribution warehouses throughout Mexico, has been manufacturing specialty glass products since 1980. Guadalajara, the 2nd largest city of Mexico with nearly 4M people, is a modern commercial metropolis and a key communications and industrial center. Mexico is the most populous Spanish-speaking country in the world and the 2nd most populous country in Latin America (after Brazil). Mexico, with a $915 billion economy, is the US third-ranked trading partner.
