As a new year approaches, Deceuninck North America looks to build on the significant momentum created in 2016.

Deceuninck North America reported strong sales growth through the third quarter. Full-year 2016 financials will be reported in the first quarter of 2017.

The company made several investments to sustain its growth. Of greatest significance is the opening of the $20 million, 150,000-square-foot facility in Fernley, Nevada, which can accommodate up to 24 extrusion lines.

The facility creates the potential for significant growth and reinforces Deceuninck’s commitment to customers in the West as well as further meeting the need for window systems, profiles and tools designed for the western market.

Deceuninck North America also invested to support growth and sustainability at its Monroe, Ohio, facility. Investments include process improvements, new lines and equipment, material handling and tools to run new extrusions and parts as well as a new PVC reclamation center.

These physical plant investments are part of a companywide effort to continually improve operations, service delivery and quality.

The company made investments in its workforce, too, fortifying its sales and production teams as well as appointing talented quality management and customer experience managers.

To provide increased support to its fenestration customers and achieve growth in its core business, Deceuninck North America divested its decking and railing business.

Several alliances and collaborations with fabricators and other industry-leading companies were announced. Deceuninck’s Commercial Alliance welcomed five inaugural member companies.

Commercial Alliance partners gain access to Deceuninck’s innovative window solutions, connect with a network of expertise and receive opportunities to grow their businesses.

Deceuninck formalized the Energex Alliance, which also provides members access to a range of resources and solutions. These announcements coincided with growth of existing alliances – American Windows Alliance and Earthwise Group, which added new members.

The company entered a strategic collaboration with Owens Corning to provide innovative ways to improve thermal efficiency and performance, bringing additional warmth and greater comfort to homeowners through more energy-efficient window and door systems.

As a leading designer and manufacturer of high-quality systems for windows and doors, Deceuninck North America offers diverse products from the energy-optimized eos ® patio door and eos® window systems to the 650.650 multitrack sliding door, which features a flexible design, two-track base and the ability to add additional single tracks as needed.

The 650.650 multitrack sliding door can feature sash profiles using the innovative Rovex® Xtreme Fiberglass material. Optimal for 8-foot to 10-foot doors, the superior strength of Rovex eliminates the need for metal reinforcement.

The result is low thermal conductivity and high thermal efficiency. Deceuninck North America streamlined its color solutions product portfolio and shortened lamination lead times.

“As we celebrate a significant and memorable year of impressive growth and innovation, we see tremendous potential in the year ahead,” said Filip Geeraert, president and CEO, Deceuninck North America.
