David Jaffe named Guardian VP

The Guardian Industries board of directors has named general counsel David Jaffe a vice president of the corporation.

Jaffe also holds the position of secretary.

Jaffe joined Guardian in 1990 as assistant general counsel. In 1996, he moved to Luxembourg to start the Guardian legal department's European branch. He returned to the United States in 2000 and led Guardian's corporate and international legal work. He was named general counsel of Guardian in July 2007. In 2010, he was named Guardian's environmental officer, overseeing environmental matters across the company.

Before joining Guardian, Jaffe was a partner at the Detroit law firm of Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn. He served as a law clerk to Justice William H. Rehnquist of the Supreme Court of the United States.
