The Cyber Shield, recently released into the retail market, is a window laminate which can provide protection from terrorism and crime to natural disasters including flying debris from hurricanes and tornados. It enables glass to withstand the force of various objects such as rocks, bats, bullets, certain bombs and debris. The Cyber Shield comes in four different categories, depending upon the amount of resistance needed for a particular application.
The Cyber Shield's standard grade product is designed to protect against costly damage and injury from accidents involving windows and doors, which often produce dangerous shards of glass. This version, the SF 5 and SF 7, provides top quality safety window films that, in most cases, stop thieves before a break-in occurs.
The premium grade of window laminates provide the ultimate in bullet, bomb, and explosive disaster resistance. This grade provides the highest level of security protection in the laminate industry. When applied to 1/2" glass it can resist the penetration of a .38 caliber, .9mm FMJ, or even a .357 bullet.
